What to do if you have a complaint

Larkhall Avondale ASC prides itself on being an open, welcoming and friendly Club. Like other Clubs however, we accept that occasionally things may not always be done to the satisfaction of everyone.

If you have a grievance or complaint it may be helpful to first read over the Complaints Fact Sheet produced by Scottish Swimming. This can be found here.

If you wish to proceed informally, we ask that you speak first with a member of the Club Committee. All such complaints will be dealt with in strict confidence and we are confident that most will be resolved at this stage.

If your complaint cannot be resolved this way, then you should review the Club’s Complaints Procedure which can be found in documents section of our website and take your complaint forward in accordance with the guidance there.

This procedure is based on Scottish Swimming’s mandatory complaints procedures for affiliated clubs and includes guidance on how matters can be progressed through the formal stage and to Scottish Swimming where required.
